First tooth finally out

Nick finally lost his first tooth this week. He has been SOOOO excited.

More spring break fun

well here are a few more pics of some fun things we are doing here in beautiful St. George. we had so much fun flying kites with Ricqui and Beau. harpo even got in on the action. Also it was a fun family day by the river. It always cracks me up how fun it is for the kids to just to throw things into the water and watch it float away.

Spring Break

Today was the first "nice" day of spring break. We were finally able to get out of the house and do something fun. We decided to go for a hike in the Redcliff Reserve Recreation area. It was a beautiful day, a bit chilly (only about 55 degrees) but we decided to go anyway. the kids had fun running and exploring. Also Maile came with us, she loves to run on the trail with Bethany and Nick. Some guys on horseback passed us at one point and she kind of went crazy barking at them, but other than that she did great. There was still some mud on the trail in some places, we had to retrieve several shoes along the way. quite an adventurous day.

Zucchini bread? gross.

I made some Chocolate chip zucchini bread yesterday. The kids couldn't get enough of it. They kept asking for more.(I didn't tell the kids what it was, I just gave it to them) This morning they wanted some with their breakfast so I gave each of them a slice. When Nick was about 3/4 of the way through his piece he asked me what the green stuff was in the bread, so I told him it was zucchini...he then put his bread down and announced that he didn't like it. Funny he sure liked it before he knew it had "zucchini" in it.:)
